There wasn't much of a storyline. Just traveling around the world restoring cake shops. The visuals were detailed but somehow strange looking. Like the skin color of the people was grayish.

I did enjoy upgrading the buildings and they turned out great when finished!. The background sounds were a little distracting and kind of gave me headache. I found it very easy to accidentally click on the wrong items and have to start a cake all over again which can slow you down considerably. I would have liked it if the helper machine would have been available on more than one level.

It was a good game. Although similar to burger shop in it's conveyor belt and machine style of play, I didn't enjoy cake shop 3 even half as much as the Burger Shop games.
